According to Wipro, the $1 billion investment will enable the business’ AI, data, and analytics skills be improved in order to accelerate client customisation of AI and realize its full value by developing new advising capabilities. The business will create a GenAI Seed Accelerator program to give businesses focused on general AI the necessary training to become “enterprise-ready.”
Additionally, Wipro stated that over the course of the following year, it will teach about 250,000 of its staff members on the fundamentals and responsible application of AI. The corporation will also offer specialized and ongoing training for workers in AI-centric professions.
The news from Wipro comes a week after Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), the largest software services provider in India, announced that within a week of the announcement, it would train 25,000 engineers in generative artificial intelligence (AI) technologies and certify them in Microsoft’s Azure AI.
