During the trading session, the Nifty reached a high of 22,577.0 and a low of 22,353.15. Similarly, the Sensex traded within a range of 74,376.35 to 73,796.06, ultimately closing 0.46% higher at 73,828.91, which is 341.04 points above its opening price.

The Midcap index outperformed the Nifty 50, with the Nifty Midcap 50 closing up by 0.88%. In contrast, small-cap stocks underperformed the Nifty 50, as indicated by the Nifty Small Cap 100, which ended at 14,897.35, up by 71.05 points, representing a 0.48% increase.
