Small-cap stock declares 250% dividend. Check record date, other details

Small-cap stock ADC India Communications witnessed strong buying action in Wednesday’s trade after the company announced a 25 per share dividend for the financial year 2024-2025 (FY25).

The company, engaged in the telecom sector, announced on March 25 that its board has declared an Interim Dividend of 25/- per equity share of 10/- each (i.e.250%) for FY25.

The Record date for the purpose of determining the Shareholders eligible to receive the aforesaid Interim Dividend is Wednesday, April 02, 2025, the company said in an exchange filing. It added that the interim dividend shall be paid on or before April 23, 2025.

ADC India Communications Dividend History

Prior to this, the company had announced a final dividend of 25 apiece and a special dividend of 5 per share, for which the record date was fixed as August 2, 2024.

Meanwhile, in the past 12 months, ADC India Communications has declared an equity dividend amounting to 30.00 per share, according to Trendlyne data. At the current share price, its dividend yield stands at 2.40%.

Since April 2023, the small-cap company has declared 28 dividends.

ADC India Communications Share Price Trend

Following the dividend announcement, ADC India Communications’ share price opened on a strong note today. The scrip climbed over 2% at the open to 1,209.95 apiece as against its previous closing price. Thereafter, it extended gains to rise nearly 7% to the day’s high of 1,263 apiece on the BSE.

So far this year, the stock has lost 24% of its value, while in the past one year, the stock has surged 40%. In the two-year period, the small-cap stock is up 115%, and in the past five years, it has surged 938%, delivering multibagger returns to investors.
