The newly secured funds will help Pathway further its mission to revolutionise AI by advancing the development of live, real-time learning systems. Unlike traditional AI, which often operates on static data, Pathway’s technology enables dynamic AI that can adapt and learn from constantly changing, real-world data—just as humans do.
Adrian Kosowski, Co-Founder and CSO of Pathway, explained the unique challenges companies face when integrating AI into their operations. He noted that many organisations struggle to organise and utilise their data in a way that makes it valuable for AI applications. Kosowski emphasised that Pathway’s approach serves as an enabler for businesses, helping them combine their internal data—often fast-changing and varied—with the advanced capabilities of today’s and future AI systems, including large language models and other cutting-edge technologies.
“We come in as an enabler layer, allowing to combine traditional enterprise data coming in real-time with the intelligent layer that today’s breakthroughs bring,” Kosowski said.
Additionally, Naman Pushp, Founder of Airbound, shared insights into how the company intends to use the $1.7 million in seed funding it recently secured. The round was led by Lightspeed, with additional support from GradCapital and several well-known angel investors.
Founded in 2020, Airbound is a cutting-edge drone delivery company dedicated to developing advanced drones designed to dramatically reduce last-mile delivery costs, potentially by more than 100 times.
