Infosys partners with US-based Sally Beauty for AI-amplified delivery

Indian IT services company Infosys Ltd on Thursday (September 26) announced a strategic collaboration with Sally Beauty Holdings, Inc (SBH), a leading American international specialty beauty retailer and distributor.

The partnership aims to drive enterprise-scale IT transformation by leveraging Infosys Topaz, an advanced hyper-automation platform that integrates AI to optimise IT service delivery.

As part of this collaboration, Infosys will implement best practices in IT operations to enhance efficiencies across Sally Beauty’s infrastructure.

Scott Lindblom, CIO of Sally Beauty, said “We are excited to be collaborating with Infosys as we take SBH into the future by modernising our IT service delivery and meeting the goals set by our ‘Fuel for Growth’ initiative. Embracing AI-amplified IT is a significant step forward for us in enabling us to, in turn, deliver exceptional experiences for our customers.”

The collaboration will also help SBH standardise and simplify its IT systems and services by implementing AI-driven hyper-automation. The transformation will enable SBH to activate enhanced IT services with 24/7 predictive and proactive monitoring.

Karmesh Vaswani, EVP and Global Head of Consumer, Retail and Logistics, Infosys, said, “Our assembly of Infosys Topaz applied AI assets, shaped from years of our global experience in the retail and consumer goods world, will help SBH to leapfrog ahead with an AI-first enterprise stack.”

“Our collaboration exemplifies the commitment Infosys has to empowering businesses to accelerate their AI-led transformation while amplifying customer delight and operational efficiency,” he added.

The project will consolidate numerous support services, drive process improvements and optimise costs over a five-year window, the company added.

Shares of Infosys Ltd ended at ₹1,899.35, up by ₹3.35, or 0.18%, on the BSE.
